Nestled beside the picturesque Ellary Burn, this beautifully converted former power station offers a serene and romantic escape, blending modern comforts with stunning natural surroundings. Just a short distance from Ellary Harbour, the location is perfect for boating enthusiasts.
The nearby beach invites guests to enjoy canoeing and paddleboarding, fully immersing in the coastal beauty.
The gentle sounds of the burn create a peaceful ambiance, enhancing the tranquil setting. The cottage features a bright, airy sitting room with French doors that open to the deck, offering views of the burn, garden, and surrounding landscape.
Inside, you'll find a well-equipped kitchen with a washing machine, dining area, one comfortable double bedroom, and a modern bathroom with a walk-in shower.
Underfloor heating ensures warmth and comfort throughout the year. Set just a few hundred yards from the shore, the secluded location offers a perfect retreat for couples.
Access is via a lay-by on the road, followed by a short walk through a gate and down some steps, providing a private and peaceful escape. Electricity is free up to £20, with any additional usage charged at cost.
Heating is provided by electric radiators and is included within this allowance.
Wi-Fi is available for an extra fee, and while towels are not provided, bedding is included.
Up to two dogs are welcome, with the first dog staying for free and an additional charge of £30 per week for the second. Wi-Fi is available throughout The Turbine House via EE’s superfast 4G network.
It works on a simple pay-as-you-go basis: A one-time rental fee of £3 per stay for the Wi-Fi box plus choose your data package: 6GB – £15 10GB – £19 20GB – £25 Just let us know how much data you'd like ahead of time, and we’ll set it up for you!
