Welcome to The Boat House – A Unique Coastal Retreat in the Heart of Filey.
Formerly a stable, The Boat House has been beautifully renovated into a contemporary yet characterful home.
Large windows and doors flood the space with natural light, creating a bright and airy atmosphere that makes it a truly inviting place to stay. On the ground floor, the open-plan living space features a comfortable lounge area with a 40 Inch smart TV with Freesat and WiFi and a digital safe.
A dining area perfect for shared meals, and a well-equipped kitchen with an electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, slow cooker, fridge freezer, and dishwasher.
A washing machine is in the separate utility room, alongside a ground floor WC for convenience.
Underfloor heating warms the entire ground floor, while central heating radiators provide heat to the first floor. Accommodating up to six guests, the property offers three bedrooms, ensuring ample space for everyone.
The master bedroom boasts a luxurious king-size bed, a TV, and an en-suite bathroom with a bath, shower attachment, heated towel rail, and toilet.
The second and third bedrooms each have two single beds, making the home ideal for families or groups.
A separate shower room with a double shower, heated towel rail, and toilet completes the first floor.
Bedroom two can be arranged with either two single beds or, with advance notice configured as a super king-size bed using a zip link system. A cot and highchair are available for families traveling with little ones, and up to two dogs are welcome to join in on the family getaway.
Outside, the enclosed patio with garden furniture provides a lovely spot to unwind on a warm evening.
Parking is available outside the property for unloading and loading only.
Afterward, vehicles can be parked on the adjacent public streets, where on-street parking is available.
Please note, there are no designated parking spaces and parking permits are not required. The Boat House is just a stone’s throw from Filey’s Victorian seafront, a charming coastal town known for its friendly atmosphere and stunning five-mile stretch of golden sand.
A beloved seaside destination since Victorian times, Filey offers a traditional yet relaxed charm.
Families can enjoy the sandy beach, perfect for paddling and rock pooling, while nature lovers can explore nearby Filey Brigg - a scenic headland with fantastic views and opportunities for birdwatching and fishing. The Cleveland Way and Wolds Way walking trails pass through the area, offering stunning coastal and countryside hikes.
In town, visitors will find independent shops, cafés, and restaurants serving delicious seafood and local produce.
There is also a charming Edwardian-style Park, complete with a boating lake and bandstand.

Wir hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt in diesem wunderschönen Ferienhaus an der Küste! Der offene Wohnbereich war perfekt für unsere Familientreffen, und die Küche war bestens für all unsere Kochbedürfnisse ausgestattet. Die Kinder liebten die gemütlichen Schlafzimmer, und wir genossen das bequeme Kingsize-Bett in der Master-Suite.
