Kindly note that this is a personal home, so please take good care of it as if it were your own. The property is easily accessible by public transport and car. The nearest train station, Hackney Downs, is just a 5-minute walk. Heathrow Airport is a 1 hour and 22 minute drive from the property 5-minute. This property is a self-check-in property, and you will be requested to verify your identity before checking into the property.
You can check in any time of the day as long as you respect our standard check-in time (3 p.m.). Also, we charge £50 for each set of lost keys (security keys may cost more). There may be an additional cost to replace the locks for security purposes.
So, please keep your keys safe. There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property.
If our team discovers evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.), we fully reserve the right to charge a minimum of £300 for the smoking fee. We do not allow parties, large gatherings, loud noises, or outside guests.
Should we receive sufficient evidence of such activity, we reserve the right to cancel your stay (without a refund) and may involve a security team to evict you. Any associated cost will be charged to you via your security deposit.
Local authorities may also be present (if required). Our 60 m² apartment provides a delightful urban retreat in a lively, culturally rich neighbourhood.

With Hackney Downs train station just a 5-minute walk away, guests can easily access the rest of London and make the most of their stay. Welcome to my apartment! Located on the first floor (accessible via stairs; please note the lift is currently out of order), this two-bedroom apartment offers a comfortable stay in London’s creative E8 district.
Just a short walk from the vibrant Broadway Market, you’ll find artisanal foods, vintage shops, and a wide range of dining options.

The fully equipped kitchen includes all essential cookware and cutlery for preparing meals at home. Both bedrooms offer king-sized beds with hotel-quality linens to ensure a restful night’s sleep.
The bathroom comes with fresh towels and complimentary toiletries for your convenience. The apartment is professionally cleaned before every stay, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable experience. Enjoy your stay!

The Artistic Retreat was very clean and well maintained and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for us, close to our daughters home in Hackney and a short walk to the Hackney Downs Overground station.
