Stock up on essentials at the nearby Village Stores, which offer everything from fresh vegetables and meat to fine wine and firewood for those quiet nights in. For an unforgettable day out, follow the South West Coast Path that practically crosses right in front of your garden gate; venture south-west towards Kennack Sands or head north to Lowland Point, discovering dramatic cliffs, hidden coves, enchanting little hidden beaches, and picturesque fishing villages along the way. As a quintessential Cornish coastal retreat, Mermaid Cottage is the perfect base from which to explore and experience the delights of this stunning area.
