Description of the accommodation
We invite you to feel at home! Only 6 km to Kreischberg! Our house is located in a wonderfully idyllic, quiet location, surrounded by meadows and forests at the foot of the Frauenalpe, 3 minutes by car from Murau train station.
The 8 Mur Valley ski resorts are in the immediate vicinity, 6 km to Kreischberg, 10 km to Grebenzen, 40 minutes to Turracherhöhe! We invite you to feel at home! Our house with rooms and apartments as well as the self-catering cottage "Knusperhäuschen Troadkasten" are located in a wonderfully idyllic, quiet location, surrounded by meadows and forests at the foot of the Frauenalpe, 3 minutes by car from Murau train station, 6 km to Kreischberg.
The private pond invites you to splash, fish, or simply relax, and the farm animals like ponies, rabbits, chickens, and kittens are waiting for a cuddle.
Our cows and calves can spend the whole year grazing on our organic farm! There is also a fun playground for children with a giant trampoline, giant slide, and more. Miscellaneous Cozy house and alpine huts in a wonderfully quiet, secluded location, 1.5 km to the center, rooms and apartments, fishing and swimming pond, petting zoo, playground with giant trampoline, table tennis, near Kreischberg, Frauenalpe, and Stolzalpe. Our guesthouse is located 3 minutes from Murau train station in an absolutely quiet, idyllic location on the edge of the forest. The apartments are on the ground floor, which means very practical access for elderly people or families with children.
The playground is right next door. Directions Check-in: from 2 PM, Check-out: 11 AM If a different time is desired, it can be discussed at short notice. From Western Austria, Germany, and Switzerland: Via Munich – Salzburg – through the Tauern Tunnel to St. Michael/Lungau (toll station) – then turn right to Tamsweg – direction Murau. Coming from Germany, turn right at the first roundabout, drive straight across the main square between Gasthaus Moser and Schlecker, and cross the train station bridge, then go over the tracks to the left or right.
After about 100m, turn right towards Frauenalpe.
You will drive through the small village of Schlatting, then through one more curve in the forest, then (about 1.5 km from the train station) our signpost will be on the right side of the road and the driveway to our farm and the Troadkasten.
On the farm, drive up to the yellow house; in front of it are the parking spaces for the guesthouse and the Knusperhäuschen Troadkasten.
