The apartment is located in Bohinj and lies next to the forest, away from the main tourist bustle. Brand new (2021), luxuriously equipped apartment offers a balcony with a beautiful panoramic view of the Julian Alps and the highest Slovenian mountain Triglav.
The space
The apartment has a gallery with a double bed. An extra bed is in the living room where the sofa can be expanded into a high quality mattress.
The new modern kitchen is fully equipped, with a dishwasher, an oven, an induction hob, large fridge and dining area. In the warmer months you can enjoy outside on a private balcony with a beautiful view of the Julian alps. Towels, bed covers, toilet paper und other utensils are provided. Apartment is most suitable for 2-4 guests. Free wifi is provided. Covered private parking is available on site.
Public transport shuttle to the lake is organized during the high season.
Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport is 50 km away.
Bohinj is daily connected with Ljubljana via a regular domestic bus route.
Trains from Ljubljana to Bohinj leave regularly. Bohinj offers numerous activities, such as: hiking, biking, walking in nature, climbing, paragliding, rowing, rafting, paddle boarding (SUP), swimming and other water activities around the lake and the river, such as fishing and boating. During winter time, you can ski at our ski resort or go for off-piste skiing, cross-country skiing or even horseback riding. A storage room for ski and other sport equipment is available.
Two bikes (women and men) can be used free of charge.
Aquapark and Wellness center is located 2 minutes from the apartment. Other things to note WHAT TO SEE? BOHINJ LAKE Lake Bohinj is 7 km away, and a public transport shuttle to the lake is organized during the high season.
You can also reach the lake by a well-maintained cycle path.
There is also a starting point for hiking nearby: view point Peč, Mostnica Gorge, Voje Valley, Voje Waterfall and Vogar Mountain.
In summer months there are numerous beaches to sit and relax on, or even go swimming in Lake Bohinj.
Water is extremely clean and fresh.
Lake Bohinj is the place to relax and enjoy in peace and nature. JULIANA TRAIL Juliana trail runs past the apartment.

The circular long-distance (267 km) JULIANA TRAIL leads around the Julian Alps mountain ridge, through urban valleys and secluded plateaus, over mountain passes, along hidden paths of rural areas, through bigger touristic centres on the edge of the mountains, along the Soča, Sava, Bača and Tolminka rivers and partly across the Italian border-line area with few inhabitants.
From nearly all stages and all directions the trail offers views of the Slovenian highest mountain Triglav. SAVICA WATERFALL The Savica Waterfall is the source of the Sava Bohinjka, known under the name of Savica to the spot where it flows into Lake Bohinj.
It is one of the must-see sights for Bohinj first-timers, and it is possible that you will join those who visit Savica each and every time they come to Bohinj. BOHINJSKA BISTRICA In Bohinjska Bistrica you can find Aquapark park, pharmacy, health center, supermarket, restaurants, hairdressers, clothing and footwear stores, autocamp.
Nearby is Ajdovski gradec with archeological sites from the Iron Age, Grmečica waterfall and the remains of an iron furnace.
The Bistrica Spring is also close by. VOGEL SKI RESORT Ski resort Vogel in Bohinj - Slovenia offers skiing on natural snow, very well-maintained ski slopes and spectacular views through the year. BLED LAKE Bled is an image of paradise.
It is distinguished by a mild, healing climate and thermal springs of lake water. VINTGAR GORGE Vintgar Gorge is 1.5 kilometers long, up to 100 meters deep and its walls narrow completely in some places.
Pretty wooden galleries only a couple meters above the water are arranged for a perfect view of the gorge.
Incredibly nice refreshment in the summer heat. BOHINJ SADDLE Bohinj Saddle (1277 m), also known as Soriška planina, connects Železniki, Zali Log and Podbrdo in the south with Bohinjska Bistrica to the north.
