Village de Vacances **** in Périgord-Quercy Gîte village offering high-quality accommodation (25 villas and gîtes), bar, inn and numerous activities.
Superb region to visit. 43 m² gîte for 2 people - Tastefully renovated farm building Charming little rustic gîte with 1 bedroom for 2 (maximum 4) people, fitted out with all modern comforts. Bathroom installed in an old prune oven... This gîte is located in the centre of the estate, in the old farmhouse. The sofa bed provides flexibility depending on the composition of the family, but the accommodation is designed for the nominal capacity indicated.
All the accommodation is fully furnished and equipped and has a terrace with garden furniture.
They also have a mini hi-fi system and/or a CD-radio-alarm clock.
Free Wi-Fi internet access is available everywhere, and bed linen and towels can be provided.

Well-behaved pets are welcome, but please avoid July and August if possible (too many children not used to dogs). The estate is a real paradise for dogs, with long, free walks around the extensive grounds.
The estate is very quiet and peaceful outside the high season, except on wedding weekends.
It obviously becomes busier in July and August with children and teenagers, but the estate is very large and most of the accommodation is away from the centre of life (with the exception of the gîtes). You'll have no trouble relaxing on your private terrace or in the surrounding meadows while your children play together. Gavaudun is a small medieval village, dominated by its 11th-century château with a remarkable keep, nestling between the Lot and Dordogne valleys, close to the majestic châteaux of Biron and Bonaguil, and the bastides of Monflanquin and Monpazier. Sarlat and its festival, Rocamadour, Saint Emilion, Les Eyzies, Cahors, Moissac, Nérac, the prehistoric caves of Lascaux, Font de Gaume, Pech Merle and many other exceptional sites await your visit.
Périgord is also particularly renowned for its gastronomy: ducks, truffles, ceps, foie gras... accompanied by Bergerac, Monbazillac and Cahors wines... Brauchte eine gute Nachtruhe vor der Fahrt und habe sie bekommen. Das Wohnzimmer war großzügig geschnitten mit bequemen Möbeln. Kochen in der voll ausgestatteten Küche war einfach und zwei Badezimmer bedeuteten keinen morgendlichen Stress. Auf der Terrasse nach den Mahlzeiten zu relaxen fühlte sich wunderbar an, besonders mit dem angrenzenden Garten.

Die Küche hatte alles, was wir brauchten, um einfach Mahlzeiten zuzubereiten. Für den Preis ist es ein solides Angebot angesichts des gebotenen Platzes und der Annehmlichkeiten. Die Terrasse war ein schöner Ort für Drinks am Abend mit Freunden.

Would tell anyone visiting that this place is fantastic for family get-togethers. The garden's size surprised us, plenty of room for games! Kids loved exploring around the pond while we lounged nearby.
