The second bedroom is a light yet cosy twin bedroom is ideal for two children or another two adults.

The sitting room has a sofa bed and has been furnished in a light and fresh Highland style in duck egg blue and tartan tones.
The walls have some lovely Highland theme art and the dining area wall has a wall map of the area which is great to view the places you would like to visit.
The property has taken its name from the rock ptarmigan which is a medium-sized gamebird in the grouse family.
The ptarmigan undergo seasonal changes of plumage, from white against winter snowfields to grey or brown, with barring, in spring and summer against tundra vegetation and can be seen on Cairngorm Mountain, or you can see a photo of a ptarmigan on the main feature wall in Ptarmigan Cottage.
