Riversmead Cottage was completely rebuilt in 2011 on the site of the former Petersfield Cottage, previously one of the oldest cottages in Horning.
The owners left no expense spared when they redesigned Riversmead. Riversmead has expansive windowed frontage that almost overhangs the river and makes you feel that you are literally on the water.
Additionally, there is substantial decking which will allow everyone to fish the main river or just relax and enjoy the beautiful views. A boat shed provides plenty of storage for equipment, plus the possibility to rent a boat to fish or for pleasure cruising. To the rear of the property is a large lagoon which is a haven for all sorts of wildlife, including otters, and is wonderfully peaceful.
And if you weren’t relaxed enough then take advantage of the amazing roll-topped bath. Riversmead Cottage is a wonderful place to spend your holidays and we know you won’t be disappointed. Parking for 1 car is available off road, a short walk (85 metres), from parking to property (access permitted through garden of adjacent property). Garden Furniture and BBQ outside Riversmead allows 1 well behaved pet. All electric & fuel costs included. Property has unfenced river frontage extra care needs to be taken with children. STRICTLY a no smoking property.
Smokers are allowed to smoke outside but not inside the house.
