Inside, Braehead Cottage is spacious yet cosy, with a bright living and dining area where guests can unwind beside the open fire after a day in the hills. The modern kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, with everything you need to prepare meals together, and there is ample storage throughout the cottage for coats, boots and belongings. Each of the three bedrooms has been thoughtfully styled with its own theme: a Ski & Winter room inspired by the surrounding mountains, a light and calming Coastal room, and a classic Highland room featuring warm tartan touches. All bedrooms have comfortable king-size beds, and one bedroom benefits from its own en-suite with a convenient step-in shower. The main bathroom includes a shower over the bath, perfect for a relaxing soak. Outside, guests can enjoy a patio area to the rear with outdoor furniture and a washing line, while the small grass garden at the front provides a peaceful spot to sit and take in the spectacular views across the water and toward the mountains.
Private off-street parking for two vehicles is also available.
Braehead Cottage sits in the village of Glencoe, one of the most beautiful and iconic locations in the Scottish Highlands. The cottage is just 2 miles from Ballachulish village (around a 5-minute drive) where you’ll find local shops, cafés and restaurants. The outdoor capital of the Highlands, Fort William, is 16 miles away (around 25 minutes by car), offering larger supermarkets, attractions and access to Ben Nevis and the Nevis Range. The picturesque harbour town of Oban, known as the “Gateway to the Isles”, is around 33 miles away (approximately a 45-minute drive), perfect for a day trip with its seafood restaurants, ferry connections and seaside charm. With mountains, lochs, coastal scenery and world-class walking right on your doorstep, Braehead Cottage is an ideal base for experiencing the Highlands at your own pace.
No smoking, pets or parties.
