Finished with revamped decor and a gentle palette of blues and natural tones, this property draws rich inspiration from the soothing yet atmospheric shoreline.
With partial sea views, this 3-bedroom offers couples, families and groups the opportunity to relax in a luxury base camp before setting out for adventures along the Caithness coastline. Outdoors, each of the lodges comes complete with a large, wooden deck and comfortable furniture.
The provides the ideal spot to rest the legs after a long walk along the impressive coast-line-where you can take in the dazzling blues of the Pentland Firth with views out to the Orkneys and Stroma! For guests staying with us in the Winter, wrap up in a thick blanket and once the sun sets, enjoy front row seats to the elusive Aurora Borealis - the most magical, technicolour show amongst the stars. Stepping inside, the extensive glass wall frontage allows a wealth of natural daylight to flood the open-plan living space, maximising the concept of 'indoor/outdoor' living and allowing for great views, whatever the weather! A handy boot room at the entrance of the lodge provides storage for sandy shoes and muddy boots, alongside all the other essentials that you'd prefer to keep separate from your cosy living space.
Needing a mid-week clothing refresh? The boot room is also equipped with a washing machine/dryer, ensuring your eventual return home doesn't necessarily mean a mountain of washing! Fitted with a fully-equipped kitchen, each lodge has everything you could need to whip up a Highland feast from the comfort of your holiday home - plus, with the unique open-plan layout, budding chefs can still socialise with the rest of the party over the wide kitchen island. Moving into the dining space, a large, 6-seater table plays host to lazy breakfasts, relaxed dinner parties and afternoon grazing, with all crockery and tableware included as standard. Whilst the weather this far North can sometimes be mixed, guests can always rely on the warmth from the in-built wood-burners and deep comfy sofas in the lounge.
The large, flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi ensure that young explorers who need entertaining on rainy days, have plenty to choose from. At the end of the day, choose from three, sumptuous bedrooms to sink into; each offering Egyptian Cotton bed linen, exceptionally comfy mattresses and other locally-sourced soft furnishings - then pick from a stack of warm, fluffy towels to accompany you to the roomy, en-suite with powerful shower, or the deep bubbly tub in the family bathroom.
