The rivers Ennig and Ellywe run through the town, it is also home to the Pwllwrach Wood, said to bare a lake where witches were drowned many years ago. Talgarth has two gastro-pubs, a cafe and shops to enjoy at your lesure. The Tabernacle venue hosts many events such as musicals, plays, talks and book launches, the town really does cater for everybody.
