Set across three-storey accommodation, it suits families or friends, and welcomes dogs, wanting to stay close to the coast with plenty of room to spread out.Kittiwake encompasses the classic Cornish cottage feel with exposed granite walls and Victorian floorboards complimented by local antiques and colourful woodwork. Home to three bedrooms, all newly renovated to reflect the coastal setting while retaining their Victorian character.On the first floor a king-size room and bunk room with main bathroom, and the second, a double with doors opening to a furnished balcony and breathtaking sea views.All complete with fluffy (feather-free) bedding and luxuriously comfortable mattresses for the perfect restful night’s sleep. Storage can be found in the courtyard shed for body boards and beach gear after a long day out.The fully equipped cottage-style kitchen, including De’Longhi bean-to-cup coffee machine and appliances, is ideal for foodies.All your family needs – dog bed and bowl, family board games, classic literature and summer reads, shower gel and shampoo, soft toys and comic books, bucket and spade, ultrafast WiFi – are thought of to make your stay that bit easier. Beyond the cottage, just a short 5-minute walk is the town hub of Newlyn, with renowned restaurants and 5 Cornish pubs, fish market, antique shops and art galleries. Walk for 30 minutes along the sea front to reach Penzance, known for the art deco Jubilee Pool along the promenade, and St Michael’s Mount at Marazion. Kittiwake is a three-storey cottage with a well-equipped kitchen/diner containing an oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, kettle, and toaster, along with a sitting room with a TV. The bedrooms consist of a second-floor double with a furnished balcony, a king-size, and a bunk, served by a bathroom with a bath, shower over, basin, and WC. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are included in the rent. Outside, there is an enclosed courtyard with furniture and off-road parking for one car. Two well-behaved pets are welcome and smoking is not permitted. Kittiwake sets the scene for a lovely escape on the Cornish coast. Note: Good housekeeping bond of GBP300. Note: Feature fireplaces in bedrooms are not for use.
