Thoughtfully arranged by its owners, this Isle of Arran cottage provides a welcoming base for relaxed island breaks.. High Dougarie Farmhouse was built in 1900 & has been lovingly restored recently to offer guests a great base for exploring the stunning Isle of Arran.
The lounge has stunning views and a wood burniing stove tcreates a warm focal point for time together after days out exploring Arran.
The cottage suits families and friends gathering between island adventures, whether planning walks, visiting the harbour or sampling local places to eat. There are superb on-site wedding facilities for marking special occasions on the island, adding a celebratory option to your stay.
Set on the Isle of Arran, it works well for those seeking a calm, comfortable place to return to after exploring further afield. The Isle of Arran, often called “Scotland in Miniature”, offers a remarkable mix of mountains, beaches, castles, and coastal scenery.
Hike to the summit of Goat Fell, explore Brodick Castle and its gardens, discover the ancient stone circles of Machrie Moor, or visit local whisky distilleries.
The island is ideal for walking, cycling, and wildlife watching and returning back to the Farmhose to relax together and plan the following adventure..
