Under 500 metres away, Widemouth Beach offers wide golden sands, rolling waves and plenty of space for everything from surfing and bodyboarding to strolls along the shore (dog restrictions in some areas). Just 3 miles away, the lively town of Bude has something for everyone, with independent shops, cafes, restaurants and scenic canal walks. Swim in the sea pool, explore the pubs and soak in the sunset views across the beach. For a memorable day trip, head to the picturesque village of Boscastle (12 miles), famous for its harbour, winding lanes and stunning coastal scenery. It’s a fantastic spot to join the South West Coast Path, discover local history and savour a traditional Cornish cream tea.
