As the name suggests, this is a gin and juice bar serving up delicious gin cocktails and raw, energy-boosting juices. During breakfast and lunch time, the bar serves delicious, healthy food like smoothie bowls. At night, Gin & Juice transforms into a hip bar serving over 200 gins and gin cocktails, all mixed with fresh tonic and garnished with nice ingredients like lime, samphire and violets. The interior’s mix of vintage and modern accents makes it dangerously easy to lose a few hours in this new Cardiff hotspot.

2. Hidden Gem Cardiff: Indoor Market

No city trip without visiting a market! The Cardiff indoor market is the perfect place to just stroll around a bit, try tasty food and find some little gifts for the loved ones at home. Under the glass roof of the building you will find a diversity of products ranging from books and bags to cake and veggies. The indoor market is located on St Mary´s Street, one of the main streets of Cardiff. The market is open from Monday to Saturday, starting at 8am until 5.30pm

3. Hidden Gem Cardiff: Barker Tea House

This place is pure coziness! Barker Tea House is a traditional tea house with a vintage interior and delicious food, serving breakfasts like eggs benedict and smoothie bowls. If you have the chance to come here only once, make sure to try the classic afternoon tea towers with mouthwatering sandwiches, fluffy scones and a mix of other sweet treats like brownies. Furthermore, you can choose between a selection of 55 tea flavors to have your perfect cup of tea.

4. Hidden Gem Cardiff: Wales Millenium Center:

This center has been open since 2004 and was built to welcome the new millenium. Attracting over 1.5 million visitors annually, it is also worth it to just walk around the venue and see the building from the outside: its exterior of Welsh materials, such as wood from sustainable local forestry, is in itself impressive. The world-renowned performing art centre is located in Cardiff Bay and provides a creative home for ballets, musicals, operas und stand-up comedy shows.
