Since this intriguing territory of Devon has amazing beaches to spend some time on, why not do something new? Surfing sounds good. If you love surfing and would love to take up the sport, in Westward Ho you can do so with The North Devon Surf School, at this school you can book your lessons according to the age of the participants and then go to the lessons and have a good time at the same time. The instructors are very friendly and passionate about what they do, you'll find that you'll be standing on the board when you least expect it!

The BIG Sheep is a very entertaining show, whether you're an adult or a kid, so if you go with your kids it could be an ideal plan, you can even feed some lamb on the way! Also, you can take a train ride, which would be spectacular to see the area and enjoy the atmosphere, so make the most of it!

This place, The Ultimate Adventure Centre is the ideal place for if you have big kids or want to have a nice time with your friends, there are climbing or high ropes activities. Here you have all the material to do it, you'll love it all!

The Royal North Devon Golf Club is a golf course with amazing views and the best distances to play golf with your family or friends. On site, there are instructors and remarkable service for a great day out. Just imagine with a beer and the views of the course... simply magical.

Northam Burrows Country Park is a must-see natural site near Westward Ho, its open spaces are beautiful and one of the best features of the place is all the wildlife walking around, plus the shingle ridges and beautiful beaches.

At Carousel Amusements you can do many things at once: enjoy themed attractions as well as the purest of nature. There is everything from cars to boats in a small pool at the back of the site, and you can also go out and see the beach outside the facility.

Abbotsham Cliffs is the place for you if you want some peace and quiet and to appreciate more of the natural scenery in this British town. You'll be delighted to see that there are rock and shingle pools, rather than beaches as you'd normally expect, this cliff is great!

The Fairway Buoy is a bar that overlooks Ho Beach. The service here is spectacular, and the drinks are delicious, plus the sausage rolls are delicious as well as the hot dogs, not to be missed on your day out.
