Learn how to update your bank account details on Holidu, whether your account is verified or unverified by Adyen. This guide covers both account types with step-by-step instructions.

Changing Bank Details for Unverified Accounts

If your account hasn't completed Adyen's bank account verification process yet, you can update your bank details by following these steps:

  1. Log in to your Holidu account
  2. Click on the Holidu Logo in the top right corner
  3. Select "Account"
  4. Scroll down to the Bank Information section
  5. Click "Edit"

A new window will open where you'll need to provide the following information:

  • Your new IBAN (replace the existing one)
  • Account holder's name
  • Bank account verification document (a recent statement or letter from your bank showing the account holder's name and IBAN)

Important Information for Unverified Accounts

  • An IBAN (International Bank Account Number) identifies your individual bank account worldwide. You can find it in your online banking portal or account statements.
  • The bank account must belong to the same person or company registered with your Holidu account
  • For company accounts, payments can only be sent to the company's registered IBAN
  • Your verification document must be clear, recent, and show both the account holder's name and IBAN
  • Holidu only processes payments to EUR accounts
  • Your IBAN won't change immediately—our financial department will review and approve or reject your request

Changing Bank Details for Verified Accounts

If your account has completed Adyen's verification process, follow these steps to update your bank information:

  1. Log in to your Holidu account
  2. Click on the Holidu Logo in the top right corner
  3. Select "Account"
  4. Scroll down to the Bank Information section
  5. Click "Edit"

You'll be directed to Adyen's secure portal where you can update your bank details:

  • Click on your bank details section (right-hand side)
  • Delete your current IBAN
  • Enter your new IBAN

Ensure the account holder's name matches your Holidu account (for companies, it must match your registered company name).

Choose Your Verification Method

Instant Verification

Available in most countries (not available in Greece, Austria, or Italy):

  • Select your online banking provider from the available options
  • Log in through Tink, our verified partner
  • Your banking credentials are not stored—they're only used for verification purposes

Manual Verification

For accounts unable to use instant verification:

  • Enter your bank details manually
  • Upload a bank document (issued within the last 12 months) showing your name and IBAN clearly
  • Non-EU residents: ensure the document shows your bank's location
  • Verification typically takes up to 72 hours
