The Guest Cancels Through the Booking Channel

Guests must cancel their booking directly through the platform where they made the reservation (Holidu, Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo, or other channels). The system automatically applies the cancellation policy linked to that booking.

The Cancellation Policy Determines Your Payout

Each booking has a cancellation policy that defines the refund amount the guest receives—whether full, partial, or none. Your payout as the host is processed according to this policy. The guest may have selected a specific cancellation policy at the time of booking, which governs the refund terms.

You'll Be Notified Immediately

Once a guest cancels, you'll receive an email notification. You can log into your Holidu host account and check the Bookings section to review cancellation details and any payout updates.

To review the cancellation policy applied to any booking:

2. Go to the Bookings section
3. Select the specific booking
4. Scroll down to view the Cancellation Policy details
