When you receive a booking through Holidu, a commission is automatically calculated and added to your account. Here's everything you need to know about how Holidu charges commission per booking.

What is included in Holidu's commission?

All costs—including channel fees, processing fees, and Holidu's service fee—are combined into one single commission (where applicable to your account). The good news is that this commission is already included in the price your guests pay, so there are no hidden surprises or additional charges at checkout.

How do extra fees affect commission?

If you've configured extra fees on your property (such as cleaning fees or pet fees), these may be included in the total price shown to guests or charged on-site, depending on your booking channel and fee type. Any applicable commission will be clearly reflected in your net earnings on both the booking invoice and booking details page.

Understanding external channel commissions

Partner portals like Airbnb and Booking.com may apply their own additional commission or service fees on top of the price you set in your Holidu account. This means the final price guests see on external channels may differ slightly from your base price in Holidu. The prices you configure in Holidu always refer to your base amount before any external commissions are applied.

What about VAT?

Where can I view my current commission rates?

You can review your pricing and commission conditions anytime in your Holidu account. Follow these steps:

  1. Log into your Holidu Host Account
  2. Click the Holidu Logo in the upper right-hand corner and select Account
  3. Scroll down to "Your Current Pricing Conditions"

In this section, you'll see your current Holidu fee, any applicable discounts, and the commission applied to each booking channel (Holidu.com, Booking.com, Airbnb, etc.). You can also download your signed Holidu agreement.

How do I access my booking invoices?

To view and download commission invoices for each booking:

  1. Log into your Holidu Host Account
  2. Go to Financials > Invoices from the left-hand menu
  3. Find the invoice by date and booking reference
  4. Click Download to save a copy for your records

Each invoice serves as the legal document for all charges associated with the booking and clearly shows your net earnings after commission is deducted.
