When you receive a new booking through Holidu, a commission invoice is automatically generated and added to your account. This invoice serves as the legal document for all charges associated with the booking.

Understanding Holidu's Commission Structure

All costs (channel, processing, and Holidu's fee) are combined into one commission if applicable to your account. The commission is already included in the price paid by the guest, so there are no hidden surprises.

Extra Fees and Charges

Hosts can configure extra fees, which may either be included in the total price shown to the guest or charged on site, depending on the booking channel and the type of fee. Any applicable commission will be reflected in your net earnings, clearly displayed on both the booking invoice and the booking details.

VAT on Your Invoices

Partner Portal Commissions

Partner portals (channels) such as Airbnb or Booking.com may apply their own commission or service fees on top of the price you set in your Holidu account. This also applies to additional guest fees (for example, per guest or per night). The final price shown to guests on external channels may therefore differ slightly from the base price you set in Holidu. The prices you configure in Holidu always refer to your base amount before any external commissions or service fees are added by the booking channel.

Where to See Your Current Pricing Conditions

You can review your pricing and commission conditions anytime in your Holidu account by following these steps:

1. Log into your Holidu Host Account
2. Click the Holidu Logo in the upper right-hand corner and select Account
3. Scroll down to the section titled Your Current Pricing Conditions

Here, you can view and download your signed Holidu agreement. You will also see your current Holidu fee, any applicable discounts, and the commission applied to your channel bookings (Holidu.com, Booking.com, Airbnb, etc.).

How to Find Your Invoices

To view and download invoices for each booking, follow these steps:

1. Log into your Holidu Host Account
2. From the menu on the left-hand side, scroll down to Financials > Invoices
3. You'll see all commission invoices listed by date and booking reference
4. Click Download to save a copy for your records
