What is the onboarding fee?

Onboarding covers the steps needed to list your property on Holidu and set up the tools that help you manage bookings. The process is built around your local market, so you know how to use Holidu and your property is ready to welcome guests.

When is the onboarding fee charged?

The onboarding fee is charged with your first booking. It is deducted from the payout for that booking, before the payout is sent to you.

The fee applies at the property level. This means it is charged even if the first booking is canceled.

How is the onboarding fee charged?

• The fee is deducted from the payout of your first booking.
• If you have multiple properties, the fee is charged for each one.
• A separate invoice for the onboarding fee is created for each charge.
• You can find these invoices in your "Invoices" section.

What happens if a booking is canceled after the payout was sent?

Holidu works with a "balance concept." If a booking with an already processed payout is canceled, you do not need to refund us.

Instead, we deduct the amount from your next booking. The onboarding fee stays in place until it can be deducted from another booking.

How can I check if the onboarding fee applies to my account?

You can check your Holidu agreement to see whether the onboarding fee applies to your account:

1. Log in to your Holidu account at Log in for hosts.
2. Go to the Holidu logo in the upper right corner.
3. Click on Account and scroll to the bottom of the page to find Your Holidu agreement.
4. Click the Download button next to Your Holidu agreement.
