How Does the Star Host Program Work?

As a host, you are automatically evaluated on a monthly basis to determine if you meet the Star Host criteria. To qualify for and maintain Star Host status, you need to meet the following requirements:

Complete at Least 6 Bookings

You must have more than five non-cancelled bookings that were booked within the past 365 days and where the stay has been completed. At least one of these bookings must have been made through the Holidu platform. The 365-day window applies to the booking date, not the stay date. Bookings made more than a year ago do not count toward Star Host status, even if the guest stayed recently.

Maintain High Guest Ratings

You should have received at least three reviews with an average score above 90 out of 100. This demonstrates your commitment to providing quality service and positive guest experiences.

Avoid Cancellations Due to Host Error

You need to maintain a record free of cancellations due to host error or overbooking incidents in the past year. By consistently meeting these standards, you can earn and retain the Star Host badge, signaling your commitment to quality and reliability.
