Boost Your Bookings with Discounts and Short Stays

Discounts and flexible stay options are practical ways to increase visibility, reach more guests, and fill calendar gaps. In your Holidu Host Account, you'll find these tools under Configuration → Discounts.

Why offer discounts and short stays?

• Discounts help you attract guests during low-demand periods or fill gaps in your calendar without reducing your base price.
• Short stays appeal to short-break travellers and weekenders. Opening up shorter stays can help lift occupancy, especially in shoulder and low seasons.

Attract more guests with discounts

Log in to your Holidu Host Account and go to Configuration → Discounts. Choose from these discount options:

• First 3 bookings discount — automatically applied to your first 3 bookings as a new property.
• Mobile Discount — attract guests booking from mobile devices.
• Loyalty Discount — a fixed 10% discount for returning guests (only available for properties with a minimum of 3 reviews on both Holidu and Booking.com with an average score of 7.5 or higher).
• Early Bird Discount — reward guests who book in advance. You set the lead time.
• Last-Minute Discount — fill availability with short-notice bookings.
• Weekly Discount — encourage longer stays of 7 nights or more.
• Direct booking discount — offer guests a small discount when they book directly through your own website or booking module while keeping more of your earnings.

Smart ways to fill your calendar

• Fill short gaps between reservations — accept short stays at the price uplift you set.
• Accept short stays for full-stay pay — allow bookings for fewer nights than your standard minimum while keeping your earnings intact.
• Lower your minimum stay for last-minute dates — automatically reduce the minimum stay requirement as the check-in date approaches.

How to activate discounts and flexible stays

Select Configure next to each option, adjust your parameters according to your property's needs, and click Activate to save your changes. You control the percentages, time windows, and minimum stay requirements. Holidu's pricing recommendations are based on local market data, so you can match each setting to demand in your area.
