Setting check-in and check-out restrictions gives you control over when guests can arrive and leave. While we recommend offering maximum flexibility to improve booking chances, establishing clear parameters helps streamline your property management and prevent operational conflicts.

Setting Check-in and Check-out Times

Follow these steps to configure specific time windows for guest arrivals and departures:

1. Log in to your Holidu account and select the property you wish to edit
2. Navigate to Configuration and select General Info
3. Scroll down to the Check-in and Check-out time section
4. Click Edit
5. Enter your preferred check-in window (for example, 16:00–20:00) and check-out time (for example, 10:00)
6. Click Save to confirm your settings

Setting Check-in and Check-out Day Restrictions

You can configure which days of the week guests are allowed to check in and check out using either the Pricing section or the Calendar section. Choose the method that works best for your workflow.

Method 1: From the Pricing Section

1. Go to Configuration on the left-hand side and scroll down to Pricing
2. Find the season you want to update and click Edit
3. Select the specific days you want to allow for check-in and check-out, or click Select/Deselect all to apply settings to the entire week
4. Click Save to apply your changes

Method 2: From the Calendar Section

1. Go to Calendar on the left-hand side and select the period you wish to modify
2. Locate the season on the right side and click Edit
3. Choose the specific days you want to allow for check-in and check-out, or use Select/Deselect all for the entire week
4. Click Save to finalize your settings

While setting restrictions is sometimes necessary, we highly recommend allowing check-ins and check-outs on any day of the week with clear, guest-friendly time windows. Greater flexibility typically leads to increased booking opportunities and positive guest experiences. Consider your property's turnover requirements before implementing strict limitations.
