How to activate or deactivate Holidu Protect

Holidu Protect is a comprehensive protection solution that you can activate individually for each of your properties. This guide walks you through the simple process of enabling or disabling Holidu Protect on your holiday home.

How to activate Holidu Protect

Follow these steps to activate Holidu Protect for your property:

Step 1: Access your property settings

Log in to your Holidu Host account and navigate to the property configuration of the holiday home you want to protect.

Step 2: Open Pricing & Protection settings

In your property settings, click on Pricing & Protection. Then, locate the section labeled "Protect your Property" and click configure.

Step 3: Review and accept Terms & Conditions

Carefully read through the information about Holidu Protect. Once you have reviewed the details, accept the Terms & Conditions to proceed.

Step 4: Activate Holidu Protect

Click on the Activate Holidu Protect button. You will immediately receive a confirmation message indicating that Holidu Protect has been successfully activated.

What happens after activation

Once you have activated Holidu Protect, the protection is immediately active for all future bookings at that property. If you currently have security deposits in place, they will be deactivated upon activation of Holidu Protect.

How to deactivate Holidu Protect

You can deactivate Holidu Protect at any time by following the same steps above and selecting the deactivation option instead of activation. Your choice will be applied to all new bookings going forward.
