How to Activate or Deactivate Holidu Protect

You can activate Holidu Protect for each of your properties individually. To activate it, open the property configuration in your Holidu Host account, go to Pricing & Protection, click Configure in the "Protect your Property" section, accept the Terms & Conditions, and confirm with "Activate Holidu Protect." Once activated, it applies to all future bookings at that property.

What Is Holidu Protect?

Holidu Protect is a coverage service for hosts that protects your property against damages caused by guests. Coverage applies per property, so you can decide where to use it. Read the details in the activation screens before you confirm.

How to Activate Holidu Protect

1. Log in to your Holidu Host account and go into the property configuration of the holiday home you want to protect.
   
2. Click on Pricing & Protection in the property settings. Click Configure in the section "Protect your Property."
   
3. Read through the information and accept the Terms & Conditions.
   
4. Click on "Activate Holidu Protect." You will see a confirmation that Holidu Protect was activated successfully.

After confirming, Holidu Protect is immediately active for all future bookings at that property. If you have security deposits in place, they will be deactivated.

How to Deactivate Holidu Protect

You can deactivate Holidu Protect for any property at any time. Open the same property's Pricing & Protection settings, find the "Protect your Property" section, and follow the on-screen options to turn the service off for that property. Changes apply to future bookings at that property.
