What is Holidu Protect?

Holidu Protect is a comprehensive protection service designed to safeguard your holiday property against potential risks. You can activate this service individually for each of your properties with just a few clicks in your Holidu Host account.

How to activate Holidu Protect

Follow these simple steps to activate Holidu Protect for your property:

Step 1: Access your property settings

Log in to your Holidu Host account and navigate to the property configuration of the holiday home you want to protect.

Step 2: Open Pricing & Protection settings

In the property settings, click on Pricing & Protection. Then locate the section labeled "Protect your Property" and click the configure button.

Step 3: Review and accept Terms & Conditions

Carefully read through the information provided about Holidu Protect. Once you understand the terms, check the box to Accept the Terms & Conditions.

Step 4: Activate Holidu Protect

Click on the "Activate Holidu Protect" button. You will see a confirmation message indicating that Holidu Protect has been activated successfully.

What happens after activation?

Once you confirm the activation, Holidu Protect becomes immediately active for all future bookings at that property. If you currently have security deposits in place, they will be automatically deactivated when you activate Holidu Protect.

How to deactivate Holidu Protect

If you decide to deactivate Holidu Protect at any time, simply return to the Pricing & Protection section in your property settings and click the configure button. You will have the option to deactivate the service with the same ease as activating it.
