How to Connect Feratel Deskline to Holidu?

Prerequisites Before You Start

Before connecting Feratel Deskline to Holidu, ensure you have the following in place:

  • Your property is published on at least one Holidu channel
  • An active listing with Feratel Deskline
  • No existing API connections between Feratel and other property management software
  • All existing manual blocks from your Feratel calendar manually copied into your Holidu calendar (manual blocks in Feratel do NOT sync automatically)

Step-by-Step Connection Guide

Step 1: Connect Your Property in Feratel Deskline

  1. Log in to the Feratel Deskline Webclient
  2. In the left menu, navigate to DatenwartungSchnittstellenwartung
  3. Click on the Schnittstellen für automatische Datenwartung tab
  4. In the search bar, enter Holidu
  5. Click Verbinden
  6. Select the property or properties you want to connect
  7. Accept the Terms & Conditions
  8. Click Änderungen speichern (Save Changes)

Step 2: Retrieve Your Mapping Codes

After saving your connection in Feratel, you will receive an email from Feratel within a few minutes. This email contains a PDF attachment with your unique mapping codes. Keep this email safe, as you will need these codes for the next steps.

Step 3: Connect Your Property in Holidu

  1. Log in to your Holidu account
  2. Select the property you want to connect to Feratel
  3. Go to the iCal & Synchronisation section
  4. Click Configure

  • Manual Blocks from Feratel: Manual blocks created in Feratel are NOT automatically imported to Holidu. You must add these manually in your Holidu calendar
  • Content: Photos, descriptions, and property details are not exchanged between systems. Keep this information up to date in both Holidu and Feratel separately
  • Feratel Bookings via iCal: If you have connected Holidu with other channels using iCal, those bookings are exported to Feratel, but bookings from Feratel will not be sent through iCal. To share Feratel bookings with other calendars, use Feratel's own iCal link

How to Check Your Connection Status

In Holidu

  1. Go to your property settings
  2. Navigate to iCal & Synchronisation
  3. Look for your Feratel connection status
  4. It should display Synchronization is active
  5. If it says Pending, refresh the page and check again

In Feratel Deskline

  1. Navigate to Schnittstellenwartung
  2. Confirm that Holidu is listed as active in your connections

Ensure your prices are set in Holidu first. Prices flow from Holidu to Feratel, not the other way around. If prices still are not updating, check that your connection status is Active.

Manual Blocks Not Appearing

Remember that manual blocks created in Feratel are not automatically synced to Holidu. You must manually add these blocks directly in your Holidu calendar to keep your availability accurate on both platforms.
