You can update your cancellation policy anytime in your Holidu Host account. Moderate policies often attract more bookings, so choose the option that best fits your property and local market.

How to Update Your Cancellation Policy

1. Log in to your Holidu Host account at host.holidu.com/app or in the Holidu Host app.
2. Click "Properties" and select the listing you want to update.
3. Click "Configuration" in the left-hand menu.
4. Open the "Cancellation Policies" section.
5. Choose the booking channel you want to update, then select your preferred policy.
6. Click "Save" to apply your changes.

Changes apply only to future bookings. Existing bookings are not affected.

Cancellation Policy Types by Channel

Holidu and other channels:

• Flexible: Full refund up to 1 day before check-in.
• Moderate 5 Days: Full refund up to 5 days before check-in, 50% refund less than 5 days before.
• Moderate 14 Days: Full refund up to 14 days before check-in, no refund less than 14 days before.
• Firm: Full refund up to 30 days before check-in, 50% refund between 30 and 7 days, no refund less than 7 days.
• Strict: 70% refund up to 30 days before check-in, no refund less than 30 days before.

Airbnb:

• Flexible: Full refund up to 1 day before check-in.
• Moderate: Full refund up to 5 days before check-in.
• Firm and Strict: Partial refund depending on timing.
• Super Strict 30 Days: 50% refund 30 or more days before check-in.

Booking.com:

• Flexible: Full refund up to 1 day before check-in.
• Moderate 5/14 Days: Full refund up to 5 or 14 days before check-in.
• Firm: Full refund up to 30 days before check-in.
• Strict: 50% refund at any time.

Starting October 1, 2025, Airbnb guests can cancel free of charge within 24 hours of booking if the booking is made at least 7 days before check-in. This applies to all policies.

Tip: You can also offer a non-refundable rate at a lower price alongside your chosen policy. This is available on Airbnb and Holidu and attracts guests who are confident about their plans.
