• Photos taken by Holidu professionals are not reviewed before they go live on your listing. Our photography team selects and orders them based on channel performance data.
• All hosts, including those with professional Holidu photos, can fully manage their galleries.
• Holidu keeps a backup of all professional photos. If you delete one by mistake, you can request support to restore it.
• Professional photos are the property of Holidu and are not available for purchase by hosts.

Guidelines for Uploading Your Own Photos

If you choose to upload your own photos or add additional images to your gallery, please follow these guidelines to ensure optimal performance:

Photo Requirements

• The first photo in your gallery is used as the main display image across partner channels, so choose this carefully.
• Gallery order affects booking performance. Use high-quality, well-lit photos for your cover shot and first few images.
• Videos are not supported. Only images are accepted.
• Supported formats: JPG, PNG, HEIC/HEIF, WebP, TIFF, and AVIF, within the platform's file-size limits.
• Photos must be in landscape orientation.
• Minimum resolution: 1,024 × 768 pixels.
• Recommended resolution: 2,000 pixels on the long edge for high-quality images.

Photography Tips

• Use good lighting to capture the best shots of your property.
• Use wide angles to capture the full scope of each room and space.
• Upload at least 10 photos to provide potential guests with a comprehensive view of your property.

How to Manage Your Photo Gallery

Adding New Photos

1. Log in to your Holidu host account.
2. Select the property you want to edit.
3. Click the Photos tab in the property navigation bar.
4. Click Add Photo to upload images from your device.
5. If using the Holidu app, allow Holidu to access images from your phone first.
6. Click Save changes to apply your updates.

Deleting Photos

1. Log in to your Holidu host account.
2. Select the property you want to edit.
3. Click the Photos tab.
4. Click on the photo you want to delete.
5. Select Delete and confirm your action.
6. Click Save changes to apply the deletion.

Note: Holidu keeps a backup of all photos, including professional ones. If you delete a photo by mistake, you can contact support to restore it.

Reordering Your Gallery

1. Log in to your Holidu host account.
2. Select the property you want to edit.
3. Click the Photos tab.
4. Click and hold the photo you want to move.
5. Drag it to the position you want it to appear in your gallery.
6. Drop it in the new position.
7. Click Save changes to confirm the new gallery order.
