This beach is considered one of the best urban beaches in Spain and you can reach it from the beautiful city, just a few meters away, to enjoy a swim among tropical fish.

This bustling pedestrian street in the historic neighborhood of Vegueta is lined with colorful old buildings that are home to some very prestigious shops. As an extra tip, the best day to go is the first Sunday of every month, as they have promotions in several shops that you won't want to miss!

Visit the iconic Sioux City Park which was originally built as a film set, but was later converted into a Wild West-themed venue. The cactus-filled Eagle Canyon provides a great backdrop to the rustic homes. All of this makes an ideal setting for duels between professional actors, horseback chases and other action scenes that would fit perfectly into a John Wayne movie. You can also experience horseback riding and a bite to eat at the town's restaurant!

Try the best Arehucas rum, a very popular traditional alcoholic beverage used in this very place, which is also exported all over the world, but nothing more exciting than tasting it in its own lands! Thanks to the island's long sugar tradition, sugar cane honey is added to this potent drink, giving it a delicate sweet note. The distillery in the municipality of Arucas is well worth a visit, especially as the tour includes tastings of rums in various flavors!

Don't leave the Canaries without visiting the town of Maspalomas, located on the south coast of this beautiful place! Its protected system of dynamic dunes, make sure you don't stray from the clearly marked paths due to the fragility of the dune ecosystem. If you feel like adding some activity to your exploration, you can take a ride on the beautiful and well-kept camels.

You can't leave the Canaries without visiting this natural treasure worth seeing! The Caldera de Bandama is an ancient crater located in the mountainous areas of this place. With a good pair of boots and plenty of water, it will take you about half an hour to descend into the lushly deep crater, a visual beauty. However, if you don't fancy the descent, you can head to the huge cliff top lookout point to enjoy the magical views!
