Harbour Beach is New Quay's main beach, sheltered from the prevailing weather. Practise any water sport you like or watch the New Quay regatta. Dolau beach is a pebbled beach much smaller and lies on the other side of the harbour wall. It has pebbles, rocks and sand that is a little coarser. Your furry friend is welcome any time! The other beach is Traeth Gwyn, also called Llanina beach, which looks wilder, and is popular with dog walkers at any time of the year. Beyond Llanina Point there is Cei Bach beach, a sandy and shingle beach, divided by groynes.
