Getting to Alberta Falls requires a fairly easy 1.6-mile hike. It is widely considered the most picturesque waterfall in the park, and the trail offers beautiful scenery the entire way. It takes around an hour round-trip and the trail is slightly rocky, so be sure to wear proper footwear.

Bring your own kayak or canoe, or hire one to take out on the water. Rocky Mountain National Park is home to numerous lakes, which you can peacefully explore from a canoe or a kayak. Mountain Paddlers is an adventure sports company which hires canoes at daily or hourly rates at Grand Lake and Shadow Mountain Lake.

This easy 0.7-mile trail takes around an hour to complete. It is one of the most popular trails in the park for its accessibility. All ages and skill levels can enjoy this hike, as well as the magnificent views of the towering mountain peaks and untouched landscapes.

With its many lakes and rivers, Rocky Mountain National Park is a popular and scenic fishing spot. Trout is the most popular fish species caught in the waters here.
