   Nikola Basic is the Croatian architect who designed the Sea Organ. This structure is made of white stone from the island of Brac. The steps have different holes where the water comes in and out creating the sounds of the organ. This has become one of the preferred spots for people to take a dip while waiting for the sun to go down in the horizon.

2. The Greeting to the Sun

   Just next to the Sea Organ, there is another magnificent contemporary jewel known as The Greeting to the Sun or Monument to the Sun, also designed by Nikola Basic. These glass plates sit at the same level as the stone-paved promenade, with photovoltaic solar modules underneath that slowly turn on as the light of day starts to fade.
