Together with Biscarosse-bourg and Biscarosse-Lac, it forms the municipality of Biscarrosse, which has a population of nearly 14,000. It borders Parentis-en-Born, Sanguinet and is located on the Atlantic Ocean. In addition, Biscarrosse plage is located near other major tourist resorts in the southwest. It takes about 40 minutes to reach Arcachon and 1h40 to reach Biarritz.

Biscarrosse Plage is mainly characterised by its large sandy stretches that bring together surfers and families in search of relaxation. We are thinking not only of those along the ocean, but also of the beaches around Lake Biscarosse, one of the largest bodies of water in Landes, covering more than 35 square kilometres.

A 9-hole and an 18-hole course are open to the public in the heart of the Landes forest! Be careful not to take too much advantage of this contemplative setting, you will need to be concentrated to achieve a great performance, especially if the wind is blowing.

It is not a very old monument like other remarkable Catholic buildings in the southwest. Nevertheless, it remains interesting from an architectural and decorative point of view. Among the notable elements that will captivate your interest are a monumental painting located in the choir and the statue in the chapel of the Virgin Mary.

There is a central beach, where there is a club with a swimming pool for children, as well as an access for people with reduced mobility. The setting will be wilder if you put your towel on the southernmost site towards Mimizan. You can even relax with your dog, these animals are tolerated on a leash.

They are not strictly speaking part of Biscarrosse-Plage, but are located in close proximity. The beach Ispe on the edge of the pine forest will not leave you indifferent by its postcard decoration. You will also take on colour on the beach of Lake Navarrosse, a site very popular with families.
