This is the oldest museum in England, and one of the oldest in the world, which displays the National Collection of Arms and Armour. It is located on Leeds Quayside and opened in 1996. Admission is free, so many people come to see the numerous galleries displaying weapons of all types, nationalities and functions.

This beautiful botanical garden is located in the city of Sheffield, very close to the city centre. It was opened in 1836 and covers an area of 19 acres, where you will find over 5000 species of plants and flowers. Come and enjoy an afternoon stroll through the colourful garden, take in the crazy wildlife, the various sculptures dotted around the grounds and the cafés and restaurants available for visitors.

It is the largest park in the city of Sheffield, and was built between 1926 and 1936. It is 248 acres in size and is a mixture of open spaces and zones full of trees, vegetation and small streams. It's ideal for an afternoon in the fresh air, playing with your pet, having a picnic, or even enjoying the sports facilities.

This fabulous wildlife park is a good and interesting option that is sure to make for a fun day out in nature. Here you can observe and come into contact with various endangered animal species such as polar bears, lions, giraffes, deer, and even the rare black rhino. So, this place is not to be missed.

It is a historic house dating back to the 15th century, specifically to the year 1420. A few centuries later it would be the home of the Lister family, and notably the diarist Anne Lister, for over 300 years. Today it is open to the public and is popular with tourists due to its beautiful period architecture, reminiscent of life in those days, and its beautiful and colourful gardens.

It is a ruined Benedictine abbey founded in 657 by the King of Northumbria that was used as a monastery in which several monks and nuns lived. Although the passage of time has played an important role in its deterioration, it still retains much of its original structure. Its beauty is quite spooky, so much so that it was the inspiration for the writer Bram Stoker to create the famous work ''Dracula''.
