Plus, relive your childhood with the collection of 800 toy cars from favourite brands such as Hot Wheels, Dinky, Matchbox, Corgi, Triang and many other treasures from the past.

Built by the sea for Henry VIII, Hurst Castle is a place full of military history and breathtaking views not to be missed. The fortress formed part of Henry VIII's artillery defences and was used during both World Wars to defend England. To visit it you'll need to take a leisurely ferry ride from Keyhaven. Once you arrive, you can learn more about the history and see the Isle of Wight from above. The castle has enough space for children to run around and after the tour you can stop by the Castle Café and enjoy a hot drink or homemade cake.

Relax in the Furzey Gardens. A secret place with trails and vibrant colours that enchants all who visit. Its stunning 3-hectare gardens boast a beautiful duck pond, gorgeous plants from India, China and Tibet, and a thatched tea room that looks like something out of a fairy-tale where snacks, drinks and cakes are served. The garden also includes entertainment for children where they can explore the gardens and join the search for the 40 fairy doors hidden in the trees. Located in Lymington, St Barbe's Museum is a place that attracts all visitors to the New Forest for its highly regarded art gallery. The venue has collections and interactive exhibits that allow you to explore the history of the town and the southern coastal strip of the New Forest in a different way. As well as themed exhibitions of 18th century marine painting. And before you go, please note that the exhibitions are temporary so you can see a variety of themes at different times of the year.
