Costa del Sol and Malaga province itself have spectacular natural spaces for nature lovers and active tourism travellers. Hiking, walking, cycling, climbing and many outdoor activities to be enjoyed in a beautiful scenery. El Caminito del Rey offers stunning views and allows you to walk along the old train tracks. Antequera and Las Nieves are lovely areas with great hiking trails such as the one from Istán to Tolox, a demanding route with rewarding views. That of Artola Dunes is a bit easier and close to the sea. A pleasant stroll better done in the afternoon during the summer.

The excellent temperatures makes of the Costa del Sol an ideal beach destination as the beach season stretches from April to October. There are 22 of the beaches that were awarded the Blue Flag in 2016, so that means any of those beaches are first-class and you can expect great facilities, safety and hygiene. Playa del Cañuelo in Nerja, Torremolinos, El Faro Beach in Marbella, Carvajal in Fuengirola of El Padrón Beach in Estepona to name a few.

These caves are a must-see when visiting Nerja. This is a two-area limestone cave with a fascinating history and unique structures. The striking features of these caves is the world’s largest and longest stalactite. The caves are about 4 miles long and one of the chambers is a natural amphitheatre where concerts have been held.
