The “Golden City” surprises all with endless cultural highlights and excellent beer. Do you need any more reasons to go to Prague? In our travel guide you will find great things to do in Prague.

1. Hidden Gem Prague: Cafe Jen

If you are searching for a cute breakfast spot, check out Café Jen. It is a popular neighbourhood café where locals gather over breakfast or weekend brunch. As the interior is mainly white, the space is super bright, and during the summer, they open a beautiful outdoor seating area right on the street. The owners also put lots of love into selecting their coffees and claim that their coffee is fruity, juicy and maybe nutty, but never boring. And this is so true! Try it yourself with a piece of homemade cake, like the carrot cake with walnuts. Arrive early and prepare to queue on Saturday and Sunday mornings as locals love this cafe for a long brunch.

4. Hidden Gem Prague: Coda Restaurant

If you fancy lunch or dinner with a view, head to the rooftop of Coda Restaurant. Just sitting on the terrace is an experience alone as you have a view over the roofs of Prague´s old town, but the food is also amazing! The dishes are mostly prepared with fresh, local and preferably organic ingredients. Of course, you can also stop by for a coffee and a piece of cake in the sun. Upon being seated at Coda, the first thing you’ll notice are the very cool plates which were designed by Josef Blecha especially for Coda Restaurant and feature the Rosenthal caricatures of famous musicians. You can also buy them in the gift shop.

5. Hidden Gem Prague: Cafefin

This cafe is probably the most Instagrammable spot in the whole of Prague – indeed, Latte Art at its best. But not only are the lattes special – so is the entire concept of the Cafefin. It´s a combination of Vietnamese and modern cuisine. You have the basics, like avocado toast (with pomegranate, sprouts and egg!) but also the Vietnamese part, with its offerings of the popular “Banh Mi” sandwich. The place is a must-do for both breakfast and lunch!

The grassy hill in Riegrovy Sady is perfect for watching the sunset with friends. After a busy day exploring the city, this place is perfect for having a picnic with a bottle of wine while watching the sun go down. Some people play the guitar here and just enjoy life!

A village made out of containers for art, design, food, education & entertainment. Manifesto Market is located in the heart of Prague and is the new food and culture magnet.
