It is not only a harbour, but also a luxury district. A very beautiful Baroque church built in 1618, overlooking a splendid square, again shaded by trees. It is certainly worth a visit just to see the belfry, the wooden figure of Marbella’s Saint Patron, St Barnabas, the Organ known as the “Great Sun” and its stunning doorway.

If the Castle Walls ruins are already very impressive, we cannot but imagine how impressive they were when tall towers stood around them, during the Arab domination.

For a full view of Marbella and all of its surrounding lands, including even the Moroccan mountains on a clear day, make sure to trek up to La Concha, a high hill which takes about 4 hours to climb on foot. The expedition is not especially demanding, but still make sure to pack comfortable walking gear, plenty of water and your favourite hat!

According to our most recent historical data, the months that are the cheapest in Marbella are February, March, and January, with average prices from £162.55, £162.9 and £181.22, respectively.

When it comes to renting a holiday letting in Marbella, the highest prices are found in the month of August (with an average of £322.45 per night), followed by July (£284.31), and September (£242.67).

When visiting Marbella it is necessary to think ahead, as 53% of rentals are usually booked, according to last year's data.

The months that offer the most accommodation options, on average, are March (with an availability of 68%) February (57.75%), and November (56.6%), according to the trends observed in 2019.

The month with the highest average booked rental figures is August (only 20.6% of properties were available on average in 2019). Followed by July (26.5%), and June (39.8%).
