Holiday rentals and lettings in Beaulieu-sur-Mer

A luxury letting facing the sea

It is hard to do better than Beaulieu-sur-Mer, this peaceful town a few kilometres from Nice to enjoy the beaches of the Côte d'Azur. The accommodation available in the city is numerous and varied and there are plenty of rentals, studios and lofts with views of the Mediterranean. Some of them are only a few metres from the beach of "La Petite Afrique" and allow you to be in the water in one minute. These accommodations generally offer beautiful amenities (balconies, terraces, bicycle room, equipped kitchen) and are ideal for spending days relaxing on the hot sand while residing near the small town centre of the town.

A villa or cottage in the hinterland

The department of Alpes-Maritimes is famous for the beauty of its beaches but also for the charm of its hills overlooking the sea. The surroundings of the town are home to a large number of simple and friendly architect and family houses. They usually have an outdoor eating area and, in some cases, a swimming pool. A slightly off-centre holiday rental allows you to enjoy the region's natural landscapes and hiking trails nearby.

Location and orientation

A small town ten kilometres from Nice

The commune of Alpes-Maritimes is located east of Nice and west of Monaco, very close to Cap Ferrat. It takes about half an hour to reach Menton and a few more minutes to cross the Italian border. A stay in this charming locality will be an opportunity to visit Nice but also other famous seaside resorts in the Mediterranean such as {{Cagnes-sur-Mer}{14039}, {{Roquebrune Cap-Martin}{14258} or even Juan-les-Pins.

An easily accessible municipality

The city is crossed by the RN 98, connecting Toulon to Menton. From Nice, all you have to do is take the M 6007 to reach your destination. If you do not have a car, you can reach Nice by TGV, allow about six hours of travel time for a direct flight from Paris, or by plane. The landing will then take place at Nice Côte d'Azur airport. Once in Nice, all you need to do is take a TER or a bus to quickly reach your holiday rental.

A destination for outdoor recreation enthusiasts

While you can swim most of the year in the Mediterranean, you can also enjoy sailing, water skiing or even outboarding. The city has a large marina, which can accommodate up to 800 boats. It is also a real pleasure to walk along the beach and admire the many species of exotic flowers that are found there as well as several dozen century-old olive trees. The city also has several tennis courts and a golf course. Finally, the mountains, accessible in a few minutes by car, offer endless possibilities for walks and hikes.

As early as the nineteenth century, crowned heads and celebrities from all over Europe found themselves in this small town on the water's edge. It was not uncommon to meet, in summer, Empress Eugenie, married to Napoleon III, the Russian writer Leon Tolstoy or the engineer Gustave Eiffel.

Top 3 things to do

Enjoy the Côte d'Azur without moderation

Sunny for most of the year, this region of France will delight lovers of idleness. The city has two main beaches, "Petite Afrique" and "Baie des Fourmis", both bordered by numerous terraces of cafés and restaurants. For a drive, drive along the coast to Antibes, taking the famous Promenade des Anglais, you will enjoy perfectly unobstructed views of the Mediterranean.

Visit Villa Kérylos

It was in the second half of the nineteenth century that the city became a popular holiday destination for the French and international aristocracy. Prestigious residences were built there, including the Kérylos house. Established on a rocky promontory overlooking the sea, this building of Carrara marble and alabaster sparkles under the Mediterranean sun. Its architecture was inspired by the residences of ancient Greece, as evidenced by the many statues decorating the building and the sumptuous frescos on its peristyle. Open to the public all year round, this mansion is a real treasure of seaside architecture.

Admire the old Hotel de Bristol

Built from 1897 to 1898, this luxury hotel attracts all eyes with its richly decorated facades and the delicacy of its rotunda, where tea was once served to distinguished guests. Visiting this hotel today is like a journey back in time and allows you to experience the splendour of the Côté d'Azur during the Belle Epoque.
