The Europe-wide vacation rental company Holidu (www.holidu.com), headquartered in Munich, is merging the identity of its subsidiary and host solution, Bookiply, with the overarching Holidu brand. The distinct websites of the booking portal Holidu and Bookiply have been combined to create a cohesive online presence.

The rebranding marks both a new market presence and a new direction. “We are creating a clearer brand structure for our customers and bundling our expertise, services, and products under a standardized brand name. This not only simplifies communication with our customers — hosts, guests, destination marketing organizations (DMO), and partners — but also promotes our brand awareness and accelerates our further growth”, explains Johannes Siebers, Co-Founder and CEO of Holidu. The company Holidu operates a booking portal of the same name for vacation rentals, which bundles millions of offers and has more than 100 million users every year. Under the Holidu brand, the company now also offers its software and service solution for vacation homeowners (formerly Bookiply), which helps them generate more bookings with less effort. Not only do hosts have access to easy-to-use software, but they also receive personalized support from local travel experts. “We are proud to already support hosts of over 30,000 vacation rentals in Europe,” says Johannes Siebers. “Hosts will benefit from the strong, trustworthy Holidu brand name from now on.”

The new logo represents the brand essence “Holiday Home Happiness”.

New logo and independent design As part of the brand merger, Holidu is rolling out a new corporate design in which a new logo and the changed color scheme represent the brand essence “Holiday Home Happiness”. The logo shows the connection between guests and hosts in a stylized house. The smile in the letter “H” assures guests that they will have a wonderful and carefree vacation. Hosts can rent out their accommodation easily and without hesitation. People can also be recognized in the logo: On the one hand, a host opens his door invitingly and welcomes the guest. On the other hand, the logo is reminiscent of a person relaxing in a hammock. The brand’s new color scheme of petrol, white, and “peach” is optimistic and self-confident and underlines the feeling of anticipation for a vacation. The darker petrol represents the reliability and safety of the brand, and the warm “peach” stands for caring and personal service. With this new color spectrum, Holidu creates an unmistakable signature and a unique design among the global brands of vacation home providers.   The new design was also developed to better express the company’s mission: to make the hosting and booking of vacation homes free of doubt and full of joy. “With a strong brand, we want to bring hosts and vacation home guests even closer together.”

Founder-brother duo share their mission with 500 employees today Holidu was founded in 2014 by Johannes and Michael Siebers after they had frustrating experiences when booking a vacation rental. The brothers set themselves the goal of digitizing and simplifying the vacation rental market.  Since its foundation, the company has grown to more than 500 employees at 23 locations in Europe. “The brand merger will further strengthen the cohesion of our teams. One brand, one voice”, says Johannes Siebers. Apart from the change of name and simplified communication, nothing will change for the employees; all departments will remain the same or be expanded. “We currently have over 40 positions advertised in the most attractive travel regions in Europe. We welcome applications from team players with a passion for travel and technology. ”
