Northern Italy is a vast group of cities. The region includes both coastal municipalities and large urban cities. Most of the available rentals are located inland, especially around Milan and Venice. On the east coast, in Genoa, the offer is also very rich. Finally, provincial holiday rentals, nestled in the beautiful Italian countryside, are available around Trento or Varese.

Northern Italy does not exist administratively. It is rather a cultural and geographical area. On the one hand, the North-West zone, which includes the Aosta Valley and some regions such as Liguria or Piedmont. On the other hand, the North-East, which includes the regions of Emilia Romagna, Trentino and especially Veneto. The whole area is very easy to access, by train or plane, from France.

In front of so many beautiful cities, it is difficult to make a choice. It all depends on the holiday you are looking for. If you want to discover a modern and fashionable city, you must obviously choose Milan. Its bars and chic restaurants will delight lovers of fashion and luxury. To discover Italian history and its monuments, cities like Florence, Rome or Bergamo are ideal. These are flamboyant cities where the richness of Italian culture is displayed with splendour. To enjoy a quieter atmosphere, Venice is THE destination not to be missed.

Any good romantic journey must begin in the city of Rome. Fellini filmed his most beautiful films there and gave his letters of nobility to the capital. The Trevi Fountain, where Anita Ekberg can be seen swimming, is a symbol of love. In Florence, Cupola del Brenulleschi is a magnificent viewpoint where you can admire the sunset while enjoying a breathtaking panorama. Venice, finally, the city of love, is a must. From romantic walks along its canals to candlelit dinners in pretty restaurants, everything is idyllic.

How difficult it is to make a choice because this region of Italy is so rich in culture! You can organise a small roadtrip to discover the main tourist sites of each city. In Rome, do not miss the Colosseum, the Roman forum or the Pantheon. If we have time, we can also immerse ourselves in the Vatican atmosphere. In Pisa, you should of course see the famous leaning tower, but also the beautiful piazza dei miracoli. In Florence, we will be thrilled by the Duomo and the Basilica of San Miniato al Monte.

All periods of history coexist in this superb city of art and culture.
